This model ships in two separate pieces. Assembly is easy requiring only 4 wing nuts to twist on. No tools required These pet stairs are as stable as if they were a one piece unit. Mini Pet Stairs are intended for small dogs and cats. As a guide we suggest these stairs are suitable for dogs up to 21 lbs. PLEASE NOTE: Commercial carpet color shades may vary and are not guaranteed to match what is shown on any computer monitor. Mini pet steps are either constructed from plywood and are covered with plush durable cutpile commercial carpet or you can choose an EcoFriendly pet step constructed from OSB and covered with beige Mohawk everstrand carpet. Environmentall friendly OSB wood is made from small fastgrowing trees with a recycled content of up to 75. This reduces the demand for old growth timber. Mohawk beige everstrand carpet fiber is extruded from recycled plastic bottles and contains 100 postconsumer recycled content.
